It’s no secret I love all things banana leaf, and while it’s definitely become quite trendy the past few years, it will always be a classic in my book.
So I finally bit the bullet and bought this custom-made banana leaf coat that I’d been eyeing for ages.
It’s from Suite by Jennifer Diederich, who you may remember from Project Runway.
I’m not sure I actually saw the season she was on, but have been following her on Instagram for years, as she split her time between New York and Italy.
She’s known for her whimsical, playful party dresses and quick escape coats, which come in a slew of delightful prints.

Clearly, I went with the banana leaf, but think this pink passport-print coat is super charming too! I’m also eyeing this flamingo dress.
STAN SACKLEY PALM SPRINGS HOUSE
