I’ve been obsessed with this MDS Stripes dress for quite some time, so when it finally went on sale I scooped it up, even if it was still a bit of a splurge. Here’s how I wore it for a romp through Joshua Tree, along with a few more affordable pink dresses below (and the crazy thing happening behind the scenes)!

It’s super breezy cotton, which feels so good on hot desert days. The belt is detachable so you can also wear it loose and free, which I will surely do. Also, this dress has POCKETS! The best, right?
The dress is by MDS Stripes, the MDS being Mark D. Sikes, interior designer extraordinaire. I’ve been wanting to try a piece from his fashion collection for some time now and am glad I made the splurge.
You can find this MDS Stripes hot pink garden dress here (on sale!).
A few more affordable pink midi dress options here and here.
Happy trails xo!
p.s. I’m wearing a size 2 but a 0 would have worked as well.
p.p.s. Gun shots were going off just over the hill next to us, so we made these shots snappy. Talk about a photo shoot not showing the full picture!
