We saw SO many beautiful sights on our road trip over Labor Day — Monument Valley being one of them. The entire drive through the American Southwest literally takes your breath away. Here are a few shots of the ruddy Mars-like landscape + what I wore (this faux fur jacket is on major sale BTW!)…

Doesn’t it look like another planet?
We couldn’t get over the natural beauty of the area.
What’s even more insane is that while Monument Valley is stunning, the drive around it is even more so.
The gorgeous landscape just goes on and on, red and Mars-like for one portion, then white and Moon-like for another, then eventually turning to black lava rock.
We’ve always loved a Southwestern road trip, but this particular drive took our breath away, especially Northern Arizona through Southern Utah.
We can’t wait to go back to the area and hit up Arches National Park in Moab, Zion and Bryce Canyon and more places on our Great American Road Trip Bucket List!
Have you ever been to this part of the country?
I could not recommend it more!
